Enjoy the best of all worlds with a stay at any of the four Crystal Lake Vacation properties located in the heart of downtown Beulah. Three well-appointed suites and a large apartment with deck overlooking the Crystal Lake are perfectly situated as a home-base for enjoying the area’s abundance of recreation, entertainment, shopping, food and drink..
Within minutes’ drive, is Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear National Park and Dunes, Crystal Mountain Resort, Point Betsie Lighthouse, Frankfort, Traverse City, world-class golf, wineries, breweries, distilleries, markets, museums, and unique artisans – to name a few.
Running directly through the village is the famed Betsie Valley Trail – just one of many nearby hiking and biking trails. Beulah’s fifteen places to eat and drink (not counting the additional 26 in neighboring towns) will sure to please any appetite. The Village hosts events year-round, including free weekly music concerts during the summer. Local outfitters are available to equip any activity, whether boating, skiing (water or snow), river rafting, boarding or biking.
The properties are maintained by a professional cleaning crew that are trained and supervised not only to comply with the current CDC guidelines, but take pride in going beyond what is required in the service to our guests.
Beulah Beach Loft
The Beulah Beach Loft spans the entire second floor of Beulah’s historic Five Corners building (so named for its placement on the corner of five streets). Its newly renovated 1,100 square feet interior extends an additional 230 square feet of deck overlooking Beulah Village Park and Crystal Lake. It is well-appointed for a worry-free stay any time of year.
Vaulted ceilings with hewn pine beams span the entire living area, providing a perfect setting for comfortable contemporary furnishings in the large light-filled space.
Two private bedrooms sleep five, with a king bed in one and a queen with twin XL trundle in the second. The three-piece shower bathroom is stocked with essential toiletries, hair dryer and clean linens as well as a laundry facility. Beach towels for six, an ironing board, iron and cleaning supplies are available for guest use.
The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, teakettle and coffeemaker as well as ample cookware, utensils, dishes and glassware. Coffee, sugar, olive oil and spices are stocked. Bar seating connects the kitchen to living and dining areas where a dining table for six is conveniently placed for eating, games and puzzles. The living area is furnished with a wall-mounted TV, comfortable seating and desk.
Guest-controlled heating and air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and streaming TV with Netflix are also included,
The large south-facing deck is accessed by sliding glass doors and is furnished with a sectional, fire table, gas grill and dining table for six, making it the perfect place for enjoying sunsets over Crystal Lake.
The Crystal Suites
Located on the second floor of the Crystal Crate & Cargo building via a private entrance, the Crystal Suites are beautifully appointed and fully equipped for a worry-free stay any time of year. Each suite has its own distinctive character, having been carefully curated by the founder and longtime owner of Beulah’s iconic Crystal Crate & Cargo. Original art, décor, and period pieces together with modern amenities make each space both charming and comfortable.
All three Suites have full kitchens and baths, comfortable living areas, guest-controlled heating and air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, streaming TV with Netflix included, and the choice of either a private balcony overlooking Crystal Lake or views of the Village.
Sound can carry between Suites when adjacent units are occupied. Additional soundproofing is in the process of being installed and until that is completed, we have adjusted our pricing to compensate for the inconvenience and ask all guests to be considerate of neighbors. Each Suite is supplied with white noise machines for those who find it helpful for sleep.
Crystal Comfort, Suite 1
With soaring ceilings and Village view, all 600 square feet of Crystal Comfort Suite’s studio has been thoughtfully arranged with a focus on carefree comfort and convenience. The kitchen and adjacent living area provide plenty function to whip up something to eat or just relax with a favorite local drink and a good book or TV.
The queen bed sleeps two comfortably and the three-piece shower bathroom is supplied with essential toiletries, hair dryer and clean linens. An iron, ironing board and cleaning supplies are also included. The fully equipped kitchen with eating bar for two includes a dishwasher, range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, teakettle and coffeemaker as well as ample cookware, utensils, dishes and glassware. Coffee, sugar, olive oil and spices are stocked.
Crystal Calm, Suite 2
Crystal Calm Suite welcomes guests into a 1000 square feet oasis of easy living with soaring ceilings, Village view and well-appointed surroundings.
Two private bedrooms sleep four, with a king bed in one and two twin beds in the second. The large three-piece tub/shower bathroom is stocked with essential toiletries, hair dryer and clean linens. An ironing board, iron and cleaning supplies are also included. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, teakettle and coffeemaker as well as ample cookware, utensils, dishes and glassware. Coffee, sugar, olive oil and spices are stocked. Bar seating for four and a dining table for six is situated between the kitchen and living area with comfortable sofa and chairs to gather, watch TV, read and relax. A TV and closeted guest laundry facility are located in the king bedroom.
Crystal View, Suite 3
Guests are immediately welcomed into Crystal View Suite with a western view of Crystal Lake. The 1,000 square foot living area includes everything for a perfect getaway. A private balcony and entrance on the lakeside are an added bonus to this Suite’s guest space.

Island seating for four and a dining table for six is situated between the kitchen and living area with comfortable sofa and chairs to gather, watch TV, read and relax while taking in the lake sunset.
